How we matched works of art to written work:

When deciding what art work to pair with each prose/poem, we primarily looked at the tone of each piece. Art evokes certain feelings in the viewer. Our goal was to use those feelings to accentuate the written piece. In cases where the sentiment wasn’t quite the same, we paired pieces that reminded us of some aspect of the written work. In the end, most of the pieces were paired together using our intuition and initial responses to the pieces.
